Continuing the investment promotion program in the Republic of Italy, on 7/25/2016, the delegation of Vinh Phuc led by Mr. Nguyen Van Tri, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee,organized investment promotion activities at Tuscana region.
Vinh Phuc’s delegation and the Vietnam Embassy in Italy visited and worked with the authority of Tuscana region. Vice President and General Director of Tuscana region received the delegation. The two sides agreed that the relationship between Vinh Phuc and Tuscana has been developing well that should be promoted further through the signing of friendship cooperation. Accepting the invitation of Vinh Phuc’s leaders, in November of 2016, leaders of regions and business of Italy will visit Vietnam to attend the fair "Vietnam Expo 2016", especially Tuscana will send a team of leaders of the region and businesses to work in Vinh Phuc province.
Shortly after the meeting with Tuscana region, the delegation cooperated with Vietnam Embassy in Italy and authorities of Tuscana Region to hold the Seminar "Economic cooperation between Toscana - Italy and Vietnam; investment opportunities in Vinh Phuc". Attending and chairing the meeting, there were Mr. Cao Chinh Thien, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Italy; Mr. Stefano Ciuoffio, Councillor of Tuscana Region in charge of economic development. The conference attracted a number of leading economic organizations and more than 40 Italian enterprises in Toscana.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Cao Chinh Thien expressed his pleasure to attend the program of investment cooperation and promotion in Italy organized by Vinh Phuc delegation. The Ambassador also highly appreciated the cooperation and the best facilitation for the development of Piaggio Group in the market of Vietnam and Asia - Pacific; he also emphasized the opportunities, potential strategic cooperation between Vinh Phuc and Toscana, especially in the field of traditional strengths such as furniture, footwear, textiles, chemicals, as well as new cooperation sectors such as health equipment and technology, infrastructure, culture - tourism, agro-processing and support for small and medium enterprises.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tri had a general intruduction about Vinh Phuc, investment opportunities, and incentives for businesses investing in Vinh Phuc. The Chairman emphasized that the success of Piaggio company in Vietnam is the basis for other Italian investors to reach the same success in Vinh Phuc province in particular and Vietnam in general. At present, there are still many opportunities for the development of the relationship between Toscana and Vinh Phuc province , especially in the fields of auxiliary industry for automotive and motorcycle assembly. Vinh Phuc Province always welcomes Italian investors, especially investors from Toscana region to visit and learn about the investment environment as well as investment opportunities. The Chairman also stressed, "Investors in Vinh Phuc are citizens of Vinh Phuc, their success is also the province's success". This opinion was highly appreciated by investors in the meeting.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Hanh, Director of IPA Vinh Phuc analyzed 6 advantages of investinh enviroment of Vinh Phuc. He also emphasized policies on attracting and supporting investment of Vinh Phuc for investors and introduced sectors and projects that Vinh Phuc province is calling for investment. On behalf of over 40 Italian companies attending the seminar, Mr. Stefano Ciuoffo thanked Vinh Phuc province for the invitation to the seminar; he highly appreciated the potentials and reputation of Vinh Phuc Province in cooperation and foreign investment attraction. He confirmed to be the solid bridge between Italian enterprises and Vinh Phuc province in understanding the investing environment as well as the opportunities for development, production and business in the province. In the afternoon, Vinh phuc delegation and the Embassy of Vietnam in Italy visited Piaggio & CSPA Group, based in Pisa of Tuscana region - Italy.
